Abstract Family is a primary context which is fundamental in human development. It plays an important role in developing the sense of security. The aim of this study is to determine effective socio-cultural factors related to the sense of security in the family. This study has been conducted using a survey method. Data has been gathered thorough questionnaire. The sample of study constitutes 500 families of Shiraz city. The reliability of questionnaire was confirmed via Chronbach's alpha. The results of study show that the relationship between sense of security in the family, with religiosity, life satisfaction, living facilities, social deviance, social relationships, parental education and family income is significant. Multivariate regression results suggest that life satisfaction and social deviance are the most important predictors of feeling of security amongst people studied hereby.

Abstract Since the beginning of human life on the earth, comfort, safety and security for one’s family have been a necessary. The security has a fundamental role in all spheres of the social life, including economy, religion, culture and politics. One of the greatest achievements of divine religions is to maintain human psychological security against the stresses and evil temptations; therefore religiousness could have a significant role in explaining the variances of social security in a society. The present paper examines relationships between religiosity and the sense of social security in the city of Yazd.Data was collected through a survey questionnaire administered in the face to face interview, with a sample of 246 respondents selected through the proportionate cluster sampling technique. The sense of social security was measured using a scale with 12 components including the sense of physical, financial, economic, job, moral, cultural, emotional, affective, belief-related, judicial, legal, and honor security. Religiosity is also measured in five dimensions of intellectual, belief, ritual, emotional and consequential. Results show a significant positive correlation between the degree of religiosity and feeling of safety which is consistent with the ideas of authors such as Forum, Weber, Durkheim, Buzan, Parsons and Muslim theorists,. Therefore, spirituality and religiosity have significant role in explaining the safety feeling of individuals. Therefore, the optimum use of the capacities of religion can help to the formation of stable social security.
The quality of mental map and social security for present of families in public spheres of city (case study of Tabriz)

Abstract Mental maps of each person are rooted in attitudes, values, emotions and motivations. In other word, psychological processes will result in mental representation of external world. Quality of mental map of public spaces is affected by socio- economic, cultural and physical factors. Presence of families in public spaces of cities can be a result of mutual representation of mental map and social security. The purpose of this study is obtaining the relationship between quality of mental map and social security of families in Tabriz city. The study was conducted using survey method. The data was gathered through a closed questionnaire administered in city of Tabriz, North West of Iran. Citizens have different mental maps about different neighborhoods of Tabriz. These different mental maps have direct impact on social security and presence of families in public spheres. Mental maps of residents of city margins do not produce a good picture of social security about presence of families in public spaces. The presence of families in public spaces of Tabriz is affected by their spatial selectivity and mental map.

Abstract The concept of social health, along with other aspects of health (physical, mental, spiritual), is a significant component and is influenced by many factors. Security, particularly social security is one of the most important factors related to social health.. Due to this importance, this study aimed at identifying the relationship between social security and social health of youth (15-29) years in Ghaen. The study relies on social health theory of Keyes and modern approach to social security. ترجمه از: فارسیThe study is a survey with sample size of 376 which were randomly selected. Findings from the analyses of the data indicate significant and direct relationship between social security and social health. In addition, relationship between social security and social integration, acceptance, participation and social prosperity is positive and significant. Social acceptance has the highest and social integration has the lowest correlation with social security. At the same time, there is no significant relationship between social security and social cohesion.
An evaluation of relationship between social security and value system of adolescent (Case study: students of Yazd University)

Abstract The value system of a society composes of elements that are important for majority of population which can help meet the spiritual and material needs of the society. In the view point of some experts, this value systems are classified into the initial or material values (related to biological needs of the people) and other secondary or post material values (including social and moral values). The value preferences of people are affected by multiple and different factors. One of the most basic needs is social security, which is simultaneously influential on and affected by other dimensions of value system. This study tries to investigate value system of students based on theory of Maslow's hierarchy of needs and Inglehart's cultural evolution theory. It also tries to show the interrelationship between value system and feeling of social security. Data of the research is collected in survey method and by using researcher-made questioners.، 324 students as the sample were selected in Yazd University in 2012 via stratified random sampling. The result of the research shows that students have medium level of materialistic values. The results indicate that age, gender, marital status, and socio-economic status have no significant relation with the value system of students (include materialistic and post materialistic values). However, feeling of social security has significant revers relation with the material values. It has significant direct relation to post material value orientation of students.
Social capital in family and social security feeling (Case study of Sabzevar city)

Abstract Family as an informal network is the most eminent in-groupingsocial capital that may lead to security in the society. The current research has been done with the aim of investigating the relationship between social capital in family and feeling of social security among the inhabitants of Sabzevar city. Theories of Coleman and Weaver have been used to clarify the subject. The research has been conducted through survey research method. Questionnaire was utilized as the instrument of research. 400 individuals aged 18-65 in Sabzevar city were selected through cluster sampling. Findings of the research show that the mean of dependent variable is lower than median and most of respondents feel a social security of less than average. Moreover family members trust old people more than the middle age and youths. This indicates that older generation own more social capital than younger ones. Results also show that, there is significant relationship between trust in young generation as well as mid generation and feeling of social security. There is no relationship between trust in old generation and feeling of social security. Furthermore, there is no relationship between the objective social capital and feeling of social security.
