Abstract
The main purpose of this research was to investigate students’ social networking in learning-innovation process. This research was carried out using qualitative exploratory approach through the method of grounded theory (systematic method, Strauss & Corbin). The purposeful sampling of study included 47 students from Shahid Beheshti University, Sharif University of Technology, and University of Tehran. The collected data were analyzed via coding procedures (open, axial & selective coding). The results of student’s learning-innovation network model indicate that “management of learning system” is regarded as the core category of student’s social networking. Therefore, the learning system develops interpersonal networks of students. Thus, there is a wide range of consciously and multi-dimensional social participation and social wandering in context of education, which ultimately leads to a variety of consequences from innovation to academic burnout.
