The data were gathered using questionnaire and data analysis was carried out using T-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, Regression correlation coefficient and Path Analysis Tests. The results showed a positive correlation between independent variables (rate of religiosity, feeling of powerlessness, feeling of social alienation, feeling of social inequality and power structure) and fatalism. A negative correlation between the need for success and fatalism was documented. Regression analysis showed that the variables of feeling of powerlessness, religiosity, need for success and feeling of social alienation were effective in explaining the dependent variable and were able to predict 22 percent of the variance of the variable of fatalism. The study concludes that providing equal opportunities for all citizens to participate in society could reduce feelings of alienation, powerlessness, and social inequality that lead to decrease the level of fatalism.     هدف ­پژوهش ­حاضر بررسی ­تقدیرگرایی و عوامل­ اجتماعی مؤثر بر آن در بین شهروندان ­شهر­کرمان بود.<strong> </strong>385 نفر از زنان و مردان 18 تا 65 سال شهر کرمان با روش خوشه­ای ­چند­مرحله­ای به‌ عنوان نمونۀ ­آماری تحقیق انتخاب شدند. نتایج نشان داد که بین متغیرهای دین‌داری، احساس ­بی‌قدرتی، احساس ­بیگانگی اجتماعی، احساس ­نابرابری اجتماعی، و تقدیرگرایی رابطۀ مثبت و بین نیاز به موفقیت و تقدیرگرایی رابطۀ منفی وجود دارد. یافته­ها نشان داد که متغیرهای احساس بی قدرتی، دین‌داری، نیاز به موفقیت، و احساس بیگانگی اجتماعی در تبیین متغیر وابسته مؤثرند و توانسته‌اند تا 22/0 از تغییرات واریانس متغیر تقدیرگرایی را پیش‌بینی کنند. بنابراین باید با ایجاد فرصت‌های مناسب و برابر زمینۀ حضور و مشارکت تمام شهروندان را در جامعه فراهم کرد تا احساساتی­ مانند احساس بیگانگی و بی قدرتی و نابرابری اجتماعی را که باعث گرایش افراد به تقدیرگرایی می­شود کاهش داد.     http://www.jss-isa.ir/article_247305_dcc33ef56787233d25b5500940c18605.pdf
